Features
Websites may use feature blocks to highlight news, events or interesting stories, and they usually link to a webpage on your site with further details.
Content should change regularly (at least once a month) and should be relevant to the website and its activities. Features are a means to highlight information, but should not normally be the only location on your website where that information appears.
The feature block may be turned on and off if feature stories are only available during certain times. For example, if you have a feature story that is only relevant for two weeks of the year, the feature bar can appear on the homepage for those two weeks only.
The feature block should not be used for primary website navigation, static images, or stories which appear permanently or for long periods of time (as these aren't really features).
Images should not contain logos.
If still using the standard feature with ANU window overlay, feature images should not include any text other than the ANU window.
Homepage promotional messages

Promotional messages can only be used on the homepage and should be the first item of content on the page, alongside the site menu. Each feature must include a title, summary and an image. You are able to have up to seven promotional messages.
